资源简介:

This dataset contains EMG and IMU recordings from Parkinson’s disease participants performing six hand and arm motor tasks. Two types of trials were collected. In the first trial type, EMG signals were recorded from both hands using BTS FREEEMG and IMU data were collected with XSENS sensors. EMG was recorded from the left and right Abductor_pollicis_brevis and Extensor_digitorum muscles. In the second trial type, data were collected from the right hand using an ActionSense Glove and XSENS IMU. Glove recordings are available for the index finger tapping and hand opening/closing tasks. Joint angles were recorded for the thumb, index, middle, ring, and little fingers (MCP and PIP joints). The six tasks performed by participants include: arms resting (M1, resting tremor task), arms held out (M2, postural tremor task), arms moving/finger to object (M3, kinetic tremor task), index finger tapping (M4), hand opening and closing (M5), and wrist pronation and supination (M6). Purpose:The dataset was collected to characterize tremor, bradykinesia, and hand motor function in Parkinson’s disease for motor symptom quantification. Study Details:- Location: Tyndall National Institute, Ireland- Participants: 29 PD participants- Data: Electromyography (EMG) (µV), Inertial Measurement Unit (IMU), accelerometer (m/s²), gyroscope (rad/s), 1000 Hz Access:This is a metadata-only record. Data are not publicly available. The full dataset is stored on a private SharePoint drive at the Tyndall National Institute for 10 years (until 13th August 2028) from date of ethics application (13 August 2018). Access to the data is subject to approval by the relevant Research Ethics Committee and Data Sharing Agreement. Contact: colum.crowe@tyndall.ie, salvatore.tedesco@tyndall.ie
