Coastal human footprint

We quantified and mapped the presence and extent of 10 major terrestrial stressors and 10 marine stressors to develop a cumulative coastal footprint score. All stressors were mapped at a spatial resolution of 1 km, and were each normalized relative to its maximum value in order to derive the cumulative footprint score, in which all stressors had an equal weight. We derived two footprint scores: at a spatial resolution of 1 km, and another one based on the stressors present in a radius of 10 km around each coastal grid cell. The Zip file Coastal human footprint 2 share at 1km and 10km.zip contains two raster files: CFP_1km_NormMax_mean.tif : The coastal human footprint, where each stressor was normalized by its maximum value. Spatial resolution of 1 km. CFP_10km_NormMax_mean.tif : The coastal human footprint, where each stressor was normalized by its maximum value.
