This dataset includes detailed behavioural and sociometric information collected during the traditional sporting game Bear, Guardian and Hunter. Each row represents one second of a recorded sequence and contains the following variables: ID: Unique identifier of each participant. Sequence: Sequential code indicating the moment of data collection. Role (H, G, B, RT): H = Hunter G = Guardian B = Bear RT = Role Transition Movement type: Coded as backward, forward, lateral, no move or other specific displacements. Distance to the Bear: Short = less than 1 meter Medium = around 1.5 meters Long = more than 1 meter Type of hitting action: Armed = the player prepares the strike by raising the arm Prep = the player stretches the cloth/towel before striking Hit intensity = soft or energetic No hit = no striking action Sociometric values are also included:Columns G, H, I and J refer to in-closeness centrality values derived from sociometric positive and negative nominations (Elections/Rejections). Columns G and H correspond to the in-closeness values of the observed player, while columns I and J represent the in-closeness values of the Bear, that is, the participant occupying the Bear role during each sequence. All personal information has been fully anonymised. This dataset supports secondary analyses on motor conduct, interpersonal dynamics, social network analysis and relational inclusivity within traditional sporting games.
