Skin Rash, Diagnosed

This concept set contains skin disorders and changes which could be attributable to another disease. This codeset was developed by a clinician workgroup in RECOVER led by Grace Lee to include skin signs and symptoms that would be of interest when looking at the impact of COVID19 on pediatric patients. This concept set alone was not reviewed by a clinician, but it was a component of a larger codeset that was reviewed by Chris Forrest. It was developed as part of syndromic conditions for a RECOVER study manuscript exploring features of PASC in children. This concept set contains ICD10 and ICD10CM diagnoses. There are not versions of the codes without decimal points in the concept set. This concept set is fairly study-specific and does not necessarily identify rash. It contains non-specific codes such as "pallor", "unspecified skin changes", and skin sensations such as paresthesia. This concept set contains additional columns "systemic" and "syndromic" which were used as classification categories for the study to differentiate between conditions (systemic) and symptoms (syndromic) in addition to a "condition_category" which was a further classification mechanism which could be rolled up with other codes. In this concept set, all condition_category are "other".
