资源简介:
The "Carbon sequestration coefficients from meta-analyses on the effect of farming practices" dataset is a supplement to the JRC Report "Quantifying the Impact of Farming Practices on Environment and Climate-Greenhouse gas emissions, carbon sequestration and nutrient loss data from meta-analysis" (JRC137826). The JRC report provides a comprehensive collection of coefficients quantifying the impacts of farming practices on greenhouse gas emissions, carbon sequestration, and nutrient losses. These coefficients have been extracted from a selection of meta-analyses included in the IMAP-FP dataset (https://data.jrc.ec.europa.eu/dataset/4e3c371a-be72-4ea0-aa0b-45f8cdda2064). This dataset provides additional information related to the coefficients on carbon sequestration. More than 100 coefficients were included related to the effect of 20 categories of sustainable farming practices on soil organic carbon stock, soil organic sequestration rate and soil organic carbon concentration. Few studies also included carbon sequestration in woody biomass in agricultural land. Supplementary information includes the duration of the experiments, the geographical regions covered and the soil depth, in order to better define the characteristics of the experiments behind each meta-analysis. Additionally, a comparison of these carbon sequestration coefficients with the IPCC default value (tier 1) was reported, when possible.
