资源简介:
This submission consists of two related clumped isotope datasets. The first dataset is clumped isotope (and d18O and d13C) measurements of oyster shells (Acutostrea idriaenses) that are ~early Eocene from the Goler Formation, in present-day southern California. These data are used to estimate estuarine water temperatures and to calculate growth water d18O. The second dataset is modern mollusks from coastal California and one mollusk from a lake in southern Michigan. The clumped isotope data in these modern shells was used to constrain growth temperatures and calculate mineral-water fractionation factors for triple oxygen isotopes.
