Seismic array and rotational sensor processing results of tremor, long-period and volcanic-tectonic events on Mount Etna in August, September 2019
收藏资源简介:
We present results from eight seismic instruments analysing volcanic events on Mount Etna in August and September 2019. Volcanic tremor, long-period (LP) and volcanic-tectonic (VT) event results are obtained by obspy array processing (Beyreuther et al., 2010) and rotational sensor analysis (Hadziioannou et al., 2012). One tremor dataset contains the back azimuth (BAz) estimates computed from a seven-station array, including associated slowness values and relative power. In another one, phase velocities derived from six-component (6C) processing and the maximum correlation coefficients between a rotational sensor and the co-located seismometer are included together with the 6C BAz results. Tremor results are calculated in 30 minute time steps. Uncertainties were calculated for the time of interest (final publication). Extracted LP event BAz for all array components and the 6C method are combined in one file in which additional back azimuths from the Istituto Nazionale di Geofisica e Vulcanologia-Osservatorio Etneo (INGV-OE) network locations are given. Likewise, we present a VT results file for some selected events, that were chosen to compare slowness values to tremor and LP event slowness results.
