资源简介:
Data presented here are results from laboratory experiments that use condensed-phase hydroxyl radical precursors to elicit photochemical production of molecular halogens from frozen saltwater solutions at different pH values. Data files labeled with the tag "cims" consist of uncalibrated and calibrated signals obtained from a chemical ionization mass spectrometer used to quantify molecular halogen yields, as well as qualitatively analyze the mechanism of production through observing other halogen species such as hypohalous acids. Data files labeled with the tag "ozone" consist of calibrated ozone data obtained simultaneously from experiments using a dual-beam ozone monitor. Experiments were conducted on frozen solutions mimicking the ionic composition of ocean water in an illuminated ice-walled flow tube. The effects of pH, light, and presence of ozone were tested.
