Co-infection of Atlantic salmon

The sequencing data was used for the identification of differentially expressed immune genes in Salmo salar in two infection scenarios, a simple infection of P. salmonis and co-infection with P. salmonis and Caligus rogercresseyi and those provide a relevant resource for understanding the protection conferred by vaccination against P. salmonis.We performed RNA sequencing of 21 libraries of three fish pools of the head kidney from 63 S. salar individuals. For the libraries were used unvaccinated and vaccinated domesticated smolts, moribund and survivor fish obtained at 15 and 30 days post-infection, respectively.
