Dataset for Coupled Hydro-Electrokinetic Modeling of Surface Self-Potential Signals During Deep Hydraulic Injection
收藏资源简介:
This dataset accompanies the manuscript "Coupled Hydro-Electrokinetic Modeling of Surface Self-Potential Signals During Deep Hydraulic Injection". This study presents a coupled hydro-electrokinetic modeling framework for simulating surface self-potential (SP) signals during deep fluid injection at the Soultz-sous-Forêts geothermal site. The model jointly solves pore-pressure diffusion and electrokinetic potential fields to quantify how subsurface layering, permeability contrasts, and steel-casing effects control the temporal and spatial evolution of SP responses. The results provide a physically grounded interpretation of field data and enhance understanding of coupled hydraulic–electrical processes in geothermal systems. The dataset contains the numerical simulation results, parameter settings, and field observation data used to support the analyses and figures presented in the study. The results are organized into multiple datasets stored in several MATLAB .fig files. The captions in these files are numbered consistently with those displayed in the main text. Each dataset corresponds to different simulation conditions and includes both numerical outputs and visual representations, facilitating easy analysis and interpretation of the data. In addition, a MATLAB script titled "Extract_Data_from_MATLAB_fig_File.m" is provided, demonstrating methods for extracting numerical data from MATLAB .fig files under various scenarios.
