Hypertrophic chondrocytes are considered as a key contributor to bone formation. We used single cell RNA sequencing (scRNA-seq) to analyze the diversity of hypertrophic chondrocytes and their progeny. Overall design: Unsorted and sorted cells were isolated from hindlimb bones of Col10a1-Cre;ROSA-ZsGreen mice and analyzed using scRNAseq.
