资源简介:
Fumonisin B1 (FB1) is a mycotoxin produced by Fusarium species. In mammals, this toxin causes multiple organ-specific damages. Among its multiple effects, FB1 promotes hepatotoxicity, is immunotoxic and alters the intestinal functions. Despite its inhibitory effect on de novo ceramide synthesis, the molecular mechanism of FB1 action and toxicity remain unclears. In order to explore the mechanism of FB1 toxicity, we analyzed the transcriptome of the liver which is targeted by FB1. Ten weeks old pigs were sacrificed after 4 weeks feeding with control diet (6 pigs) or feeding with control diet artificially contaminated with 10 ppm Fumonisin B1 (6 pigs). After sacrifice liver samples from each of 12 pigs are collected and used for microarray gene expression study. Among 6 FB1 treated samples, only 5 were kept for statistical analysis after quality control analysis.
