Processed data and R code for "Regional disparities in CGRP monoclonal antibody prescription rates in Japan"

This repository contains the processed dataset and R code used for the study entitled “Regional disparities in CGRP monoclonal antibody prescription rates in Japan: a nationwide ecological study.” The study used publicly available data from the NDB Open Data provided by the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare, Japan, together with prefecture-level population data and publicly available information on the number of headache specialists. The repository includes the processed prefecture-level dataset used for the analyses, R scripts for statistical analyses and figure generation, and supporting documentation. The analyses include prefecture-level prescription rates for galcanezumab, fremanezumab, and erenumab, associations with the number of headache specialists, geographic inequality measures using the coefficient of variation and Gini coefficient, and sensitivity analyses for non-disclosed prescription counts.
