As a sustainable strategy for prevention of bacterial infections in aquaculture, the Phaeobacter genus has been developed as probiotics in aquaculture. We have assessed the effects of adding Phaeobacter inhibens as a probiotic in different trophic layers of the aquaculture produciton on microbial communities present in these layers.
