Towards CAREful FAIRness inTowards CAREful FAIRness in Indigenous Data Governance

Data from the languages of Indigenous and otherwise minoritized groups poses challenges for the development of language infrastructures that promote scientific endeavour while also protecting the rights of the Indigenous or otherwise minority language communities. In this presentation we outline how these challenges can be addressed by implementing the CARE principles using examples drawn from the work of the Language Data Commons of Australia.
