Silk products hold a significant position in the textile market owing to their unique properties and functionalities, and serve as representatives of high-end household commodities. This study conducts statistical analysis on the consumption data of pure silk scarves across physical stores nationwide: it constructs data tables for historical ordering users, develops user tags to determine their consumption tiers, and provides data support for enterprises to establish product distribution warehouses across the country and formulate advertising and marketing strategies based on the purchase and usage volumes of pure silk scarves in regional stores.
1. Data Collection: Gather consumption-related information including the sales volume of pure silk scarves in each store.
2. Proportion Calculation: The proportion of a user's purchase volume of pure silk scarves in the total consumption volume of pure silk scarves is calculated as: (User's purchase volume of pure silk scarves / Total consumption volume of pure silk scarves) × 100%.
3. Classification and Ranking: First, rank the proportion of each user's total consumption in descending order. Then, apply the ABCDEF classification method for consumption tiering: assign "Class A consumption" tier to users with a proportion exceeding 5%; "Class B consumption" tier for those with a proportion ranging from 3% to 5%; "Class C consumption" tier for 1.5% to 3%; "Class D consumption" tier for 1% to 1.5%; "Class E consumption" tier for 0.5% to 1%; and "Class F consumption" tier for users with a proportion below 0.5%.
