N27 cells were treated with specific mitochondrial complex I (MPP+) and complex II (3-NPA) inhibitors and assessed for epigenetic signature with respect to histone acetylation. Chromatin- immunoprecipitation sequencing approach was employed to pull down the chromatin fragments associated with histone H3K56ac in 3-NPA treated cells versus untreated controls, followed by characterization of DNA elements.
