Ocean currents velocity, temperature, salinity, oxygen, turbidity and other variables collected by PMEL, EcoFOCI with NOAA, NOS support, 2010-05-19 to 2010-08-20, from 10 Southeast Alaska mooring stations at Cross Sound, Glacier Bay and Inian and Icy Passes (NCEI Accession 0291783)

These time-series datasets consist of Acoustic Doppler Current Profiler (ADCP) and RCM-9 current observations, and additional data from SeaBird SBE37 moored instruments at 10 locations in Southeast Alaska: three in Cross Sound, Alaska (CS-1, CS-2 and CS-3), three in Glacier Bay, Alaska (GL-1, GL-2, GL-3), and four at Inian Pass and Icy Bay (SE-1, SE-2, SE-3, SE-4). Data include current speed and direction, calculated current components U and V, temperature, salinity, pressure, oxygen concentration, calculated oxygen percent saturation and turbidity. The cruise was funded by NOAA Pacific Marine Environmental Laboratory EcoFOCI program and NOAA National Ocean Service (NOS). Instruments were deployed on summer moorings May to August, 2010 from a contract fishing vessel, F/V Harmony, cruise number CR5-10. Deployment and recovery operations on this cruise were managed by EcoFOCI personnel from NOAA/PMEL. Mooring time series data were processed at NOAA/PMEL/EcoFOCI using standard techniques.
