Launched in 2010 by the Climate Change, Agriculture and Food Security (CCAFS) research program under the Consultative Group on International Agricultural Research (CGIAR), the database has assembled over 800 trial datasets from more than 20 countries, covering 16 crop species and 7 livestock species. It supplies agricultural technology assessment data to researchers, empowering scientists to evaluate agricultural technologies optimal for climate adaptation, particularly those tailored to smallholder farmers in low-income countries.
