This is a supplementary dataset for a submitted manuscript "Vigorous and variable overturning circulations in Cenozoic Hothouse ocean" by Yasukawa et al. Analytical methods are as follows. Bulk carbonate d13C and d18O: Described in Yasukawa et al. (2017). TC, TOC, TIC, and CaCO3 for Sites U1553 and 1215: Described in Kuwahara et al. (2024). CaCO3 for Site 213: Described in Yasukawa et al. (2017). SiO2, Al2O3, and CaO contents: Described in Kato et al. (1998) and Yasukawa et al. (2014).
