Benchmarking data and scripts for EXA4MIND platform evaluation of satellite imagery download

The folder contains the benchmark infrastructure and experimental results for evaluating satellite imagery retrieval performance across two storage architectures: traditional full-file download (Baseline) and iRODS-based Cloud-Optimized GeoTIFF (COG) access. The repository includes Python scripts for automated data acquisition from multiple STAC endpoints (benchmark_downloads.py, download_irods.py, download_prod.py), statistical analysis tools (analyze_benchmark_results.py), and deployment automation (run_remote_benchmark.sh). To ensure statistical reliability, each benchmark configuration was executed six independent times; experimental results are organized across six run directories (results_1/ through results_6/), each containing three CPU scaling configurations (4_cpus/, 8_cpus/, 20_cpus/). The final_satellite_imagery.zip file contains processed GeoTIFF outputs for 42 agricultural parcels across multiple temporal acquisitions. All reported metrics represent arithmetic means across the six runs, with variability expressed as standard deviation.
