Attached is analyzed data (coding) from interviewees through semi-structured interviews: (1) The nine Serao Ladies or sunhat weavers ranged from 50 to 60 years of age and reside in Tanam Village were interviewed one-on-one from 18th August 2022 to 20th August 2022; (2) SOCOE is a technology-based business partner with an IR4.0 digital back-end system and an integrator of complex IT systems on 8th August 2022. An invitation to participate in this study was issued to the Serao Ladies and SOCOE upon receiving ethical clearance on 25th February 2022 (Ref: 20225546-9283).The interview questions were informed by literature and divided into two sets: the first was addressed to the artisans, and the second was to SOCOE. Can you share with us how the project came about. 2. How was the local community engagement? 3. What were the aims of the project? 4. What were some of the processes involved in this? 5. What type of economic impacts does this project create for the local community? 6. What do you perceive to be the social value created by this project in the community? 7. What are some challenges you experienced along the way? This study is the first to use Social Exchange Theory (SET) in Social Entrepreneur (SE) studies and contributed the 'benefits' of socioeconomic transformation, social values, long-term strategies, and 'costs' of challenges variables to SET. This study confirms that SE has facilitated 'socioeconomic transformation' and 'social value' and 'long-term strategies' for rural community, apart from challenges. 'Socioeconomic transformation', 'social value', 'long-term strategies' and 'challenges' are the themes identified during the coding process.
