Mary River and Tributaries Rehabilitation, building on past, working to the future

Will revisit areas successfully rehabilitated in community planting/works of 500m section Commissioner Gully, 500m riverbank northern side Mary River between Kidd Bridge/Albert Park,145m Scrubby Ck and 100m Nash Gully. Areas require weed removal and minor in-fill plantings building on success of previous undertakings. Rehabilitation works previously on adjacent 300m of the Mary River require follow up works including weed control and re-planting of endemic vegetation to improve stabilisation of the bank and reduce weed infestation to adjacent areas. 100m linking section of Scrubby Creek will be prepared for future rehabilitation works targeting specific weeds. This site is adjacent to a Mary River site to be rehabilitated.
