Global Impact Modelling Software is Unsustainable (Dataset and analysis script)

slocount.py: This script calculates the number of comment lines, total lines, and source code lines in the model. It utilizes the code line counter developed by Ben Boyter, which needs to be installed separately. Links to the model's source code are available in the 'Model_used.xlsx' file. Cocomo.py: This script estimates the effort and cost involved in software development based on the methodology proposed by Sachan et al. 2016 (https://doi.org/10.1016/j.procs.2016.06.107.). It also generates plots for these estimates. comment_density_modularity.py: This script calculates the comment density and assesses the modularity of the modules. It also generates plots for these metrics. line_count.zip: This file contains the results from counting the number of comment lines, total lines, and source code lines.
