Analysis of human umbilical vein endothelial cells (HUVECs) adenovirally expressing the transcription factor ATOH8. ATOH8 was identified as a direct target gene of BMP-9/ALK-1/SMAD signaling in endothelial cells (ECs). In order to assess the function of transcription factor ATOH8 in ECs, HUVECs were infected with either ATOH8 or control LacZ adenovirus for 72 h.
