Opinions on reducing bank branches South Korea 2021

According to a survey conducted in South Korea in January 2021, around 43.1 percent of respondents said they felt neither convenient nor inconvenient about bank branch closures. While about 21.4 percent found it inconvenient, only 6.6 percent of respondents felt very inconvenient about it. Overall, about 29 percent of respondents were not much bothered by the reduction in bank branches, partly because many South Koreans use mobile banking as an alternative, especially after the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic.
