The experimental data of nine rocking specimen tests conducted by the Oxford Nonlinear Dynamics Lab
收藏资源简介:
This dataset comprises experimental data from nine rocking specimen tests conducted by the Oxford Nonlinear Dynamics Lab. The tests feature specimens with varying lateral flexibilities, under two distinct pulse excitations, rocking on support media of different stiffness and surface friction. Specifically, the tests include: Four tests under 8 Hz single-cycle sinusoidal pulse acceleration with an amplitude of 2.249*g: Specimen with no lateral flexibility rocking on a stiff support medium with a rough surface. Specimen with high lateral flexibility rocking on a stiff support medium with a rough surface. Specimen with no lateral flexibility rocking on a soft support medium with a rough surface. Specimen with high lateral flexibility rocking on a soft support medium with a rough surface. Five tests under 3 Hz single-cycle sinusoidal pulse acceleration with an amplitude of 0.5*g Specimen with no lateral flexibility rocking on a stiff support medium with a rough surface. Specimen with high lateral flexibility rocking on a stiff support medium with a rough surface. Specimen with no lateral flexibility rocking on a soft support medium with a rough surface. Specimen with high lateral flexibility rocking on a soft support medium with a rough surface. Specimen with high lateral flexibility rocking on a soft support medium with a semi-slippery surface The dataset includes the displacement and the acceleration measurements of the tests. Details of the measurement parameters can be found in each data file. Details of the specimen, the support medium and experiment procedures can be found on the companion PhD thesis published online: 'Analytical, numerical and experimental developments to investigate the dynamics of flexible bodies rocking on deformable support media'
