Cancer-associated fibroblasts (CAFs) are one of the most prominent cell types in the tumor microenvironment. CAFs often undergo metabolic reprogramming, but the role of this process in cancer development remains unclear. Here, we analyzed fibroblasts from breast cancer patients with LDHB knockout and performed mass spectrometry on the cell lysates.
