In this study amplicon sequencing targeting bacteria was used to test the effects of key alternative electron acceptors nitrate, ferric iron, sulfate and humic acids on bacterial community structure in paddy soil under NPK, biochar and pig manure fertilization and with ongoing anaerobic oxidation of methane.
