This repository contains the data and code used in the paper “Measuring Economic Development from the Ground Up: Gas Station Infrastructure as an Alternative to Nighttime Lights.” The data and scripts provided are sufficient to reproduce the empirical results and figures reported in the manuscript. Scripts related to index construction are included for methodological transparency but are not required for replication.
