Comparative analysis of effects of deoxynivalenol on murine enteroids after basolateral or luminal exposures.. Mus musculus strain:C57/BL6

We utilized three-dimensional murine small intestinal organoids (enteroids) to explore the toxic effects of a mycotoxin, deoxynivalenol (DON) on intestinal epithelium. Murine organoids were derived from C57/BL6 mice and cultured for 3 days prior to DON exposures. We then conducted microinjection of DON (as luminal exposure) into enteroids or added DON to culture medium (as basolateral exposure). The total RNA samples for this sequencing were prepared from enteroids treated with 1 ?M DON for 24 h. PBS injections were conducted to assess the effects of injection itself on enteroids. The goal of this sequencing was to compare toxicities of DON on the intestine after different exposure routes.
