GBS of a biparental population of V. vinifera to map quantitative trait loci in Caucasian grapes

With the aim of mining new sources of resistance in Vitis vinifera L. germplasm disseminated in the area of Caucasian mountains, we performed a targeted controlled cross, genotyped through a GBS approach (Elshire et al. 2011) the mapping population and the cross prarents to develop high-density genetic maps and map a QTL of resistente to Erysiphe necator.
