Whole transcriptomic analysis of Korean osteoarthritis patients.

A database of genes showing differences in expression in synovium tissues and normal synovium tissues of Korean patients with advanced osteoarthritis was established. Synovium tissue in osteoarthritis patients was secured when operating, and normal tissue was secured in patients requiring surgery due to sports damage. Confirmation of synovial tissue was performed by a pathologist and whole transcriptomic analysis was performed with the identified tissue.
