Several traverses were completed from Mirny to Dome C by the Russians in the 1970s and 1980s. Precise location records of 15 stations along the traverse were completed by JMR analysis, first in the 1977/78 traverse, and repeated in the 1983/84 traverse. This allowed the calculation of ice movement, and hence ice velocity, to be made for those sites.These documents have been scanned and are available for download from the provided URL.
