A multiparental mapping population from 6 elite Brassica napus cultivars crossed with one common elite parent was used for genetic mapping of flowering time and quantitative blackleg resistance. The genomes of the 7 parents of the mapping population were sequenced by long-read Oxford Nanopore Technologies and quantitative trait loci investigated for structural and single nucleotide sequence polymorphisms.
