Multigene phylogeny reveals new fungicolous species and novel records and hosts in the genus Fusarium from Iran. Fungicolous fusaria from Iran

In this study, several Fusarium spp. were studied, recovered from five fungal host species, representing four host families collected in the East Azarbaijan provinces in north and northwest of Iran. In order to characterize the newly collected isolates, a polyphasic approach was used, including morphological and DNA sequence analyses. A multi-gene phylogeny based on four loci (ITS, TEF-1α, RPB2 and CAL) demonstrated the fungiculous fusaria belonged to ten phylogenetic species distributed in several species complex of Fusarium.
