Fluidized-bed-phantom radiographs from three Caesium-Iodine Teledyne DALSA Xineos-3131 detectors for empirical PRF estimation

This data set consists of 3 x 1000 radiographs from three Teledyne DALSA Xineos-3131 detectors for the purpose of statistical scintillator point-spread function (PRF) estimation. These detectors are typical for micro-CT imaging. A PRF can be estimated from correlating noise between nearby detector pixels, this requires a data set with different noisy realizations of the same signal. In this data set, three detectors measure a static phantom object with 1,000 repeated 1548-by-550 radiographs from three different view angles in a triangular geometry. The phantom object, consisting of a PMMA cylinder filled with granular particles and two 23-millimeter polystyrene spheres, mimicks two bubbles in a gas-solids fluidized bed. The tube voltage is 120 kVp and the anode current 1.5 mA. The defective pixels have been inpainted by averages of the direct neighboring pixels. No dark fields nor flat fields have been applied. For the set-up details, please refer to the associated papers. Timeframes 1 until 1,000 consist of a the static part of the data set. The subsequent frames 1,000-2,000 rotate the phantom on the rotation table.
