INVESTMENTS IN TOURISM INFRASTRUCTURE AND THEIR ECONOMIC EFFICIENCY

This article examines the economic efficiency of investments directed toward tourism infrastructure and their impact on regional development, employment, and the expansion of the tourism services market. The study highlights the main components of tourism infrastructure, including transportation systems, hotels, recreational facilities, engineering and communication networks, as well as modern information and communication technologies. Furthermore, the article scientifically evaluates the outcomes of reforms and investment policies implemented in Uzbekistan to develop tourism infrastructure. The research also presents practical and scientific recommendations aimed at improving the efficiency of investments in tourism infrastructure and enhancing their contribution to sustainable economic growth.
