Dactylobotrys graminicola is the causative pathogen of sheath rot, an important disease affecting Highland Barley (Hordeum vulgare L.var.nudum). In this study, we generated an annotated draft genome of the D. graminicola (strain DGC) by PacBio Sequel and Illumina NovaSeq PE150 sequencing. The size of the assembled DGC genome is 31,557,234 bp with GC content of 49.07%. The completeness of the assembled genome is 97.2%. The assembly obtained in this study consists of 270 contigs and the length of N50 is 205,539 bp. This study is the first report of D. graminicola genome, contributing to further research into the genetic variation and pathogenic mechanism of this important fungal pathogen.
