Collection of soft-bottom macrozoobenthos invertebrates at a coastal site in the buffer zone of a marine protected area in the Gulf of Trieste. The collection is a time series from July 2014 to January 2018. The sediments were collected with a van Veen grab (0.1m2; 18L) and the species were identified and counted by using a stereomicroscope. This study, which was carried out by the OCE-OGS group, provides information on species fluctuations and changes over the seasons and years.
