Transcriptomic from membrane vesicles retreived at different optical densities secreted by Pseudomonas aeruginosa. Moreover, we performed an RNAseq from cells retrieved at optical density OD=1.6 (exponential phase), to compare with the RNA internalized on vesicles.

资源简介:
Pseudomonas aeruginosa membrane vesicles (MVs) are known to play a role in cell to cell communication and pathogenesis. Studies have shown that the MV composition and physicochemical properties vary according to the bacterial growth stage, but the impact that might have on the externalization of RNA via MVs has not been addressed. Therefore, a study to characterize the RNA complement from MVs retrieved at different growth phases was conducted. Firts, the vesiculation rate along the growth curve was determined, showing that the MVs release increases during the transition to the stationary phase, while it decreases in the later stationary phase. The RNA-seq from MVs retrieved along the transition to the stationary phase was performed. In this case, the analysis was conducted at four different ODs (OD600 1.6 - 1.9 - 2.1 - 2.3) corresponding to the exponential, late-exponential, early-stationary and stationary phases.
