However, the understanding of composition and function of tongue coating microbiota in kidney disease patients undergoing hemodialysis remains limited. We performed 16S rDNA sequencing to explore the tongue coating bacterial oral microbiome difference between kidney patients receiving hemodialysis (N=64) and healthy participants (N=33).
