A sample of surface water containing a cyanobacterial bloom was collected from the Dashahe reservoir on November 17, 2019. The prokaryotic plankton community corresponding to the extracted DNA was identified by amplifying V4-V5 regions of 16S rDNA with primer pair 515F/926R and sequencing in the Illumina Hiseq2500 platform using a PE-250 strategy by Magigene.
