Investigation on molecular mechanism of an anti-infective polyherbal formulation (Herboheal) agaisnt Staphylococcus aureus

The polyherbal formulation namely Herboheal was investigated for its possible quorum-modulatory potential against the gram-positive bacterial pathogen S. aureus. After confirmation of in vitro and in vivo (using Caenorhabditis elegans as model host)anti-infective potential of this polyherbal product, differential gene expression analysis of S. aureus treated with it was carried out to understand the molecular basis of its anti-pathogenic efficacy.
