A comparative transcriptomic analysis was performed between wild type Streptomyces clavuligerus NRRL3585 and industrial clavulanic acid over-producing Streptomyces clavuligerus strain DEPA by RNA sequencing technique to unravel molecular mechanisms underlying clavulanic acid over-production in the industrial strain. For validation of the transcriptomic analysis, qRT-PCR was performed by using some selected genes.
