资源简介:
This project employs RNA sequencing to investigate the transcriptional response of the human hepatocellular carcinoma cell line (HepG2) to three laboratory-derived compounds (A2, A2-46, and H2-60) with previously established antimicrobial and anti-biofilm activities. The primary objective is to conduct a preliminary mechanistic exploration to assess their impact on eukaryotic cells by identifying differentially expressed genes and perturbed pathways. Analysis will focus on evaluating potential cytotoxicity through changes in stress response, apoptosis, and DNA damage repair pathways, while also elucidating broader mechanisms of action related to cellular metabolism and signal transduction. This transcriptomic profile aims to provide initial insights into the compounds' cellular effects and mode of action, crucial for understanding their selectivity and informing their future development as potential antimicrobial agents.
