中国科学院水生生物研究所历经多年系统性的野外调查与实验室研究，积累了大量、高分辨率的浮游植物显微视频与图像数据集。该数据集经过严谨的筛选与标准化处理，广泛覆盖了淡水生态系统中，江、河、湖、库各种生境中常见的浮游植物类群，具体包括蓝藻门、绿藻门、硅藻门、甲藻门、裸藻门、隐藻门、金藻门、黄藻门以及定鞭藻门等9大门类物种。截至目前，该数据集已收录并鉴定了300余种浮游植物物种，其影像数据文件总量已超60万份。数据经过研究所资深藻类学家的反复核对与确认，确保了物种鉴定的准确性和分类归属的可靠性。该数据集不仅是进行浮游植物形态学、分类学以及生态学功能解析的宝贵资源，也为水环境监测、水华预警与防治、生物多样性保护等领域提供了重要的可视化基础和科学依据。其规模之大、种类之全、鉴定之精确，使其在国内外相关研究领域具有重要的参考和应用价值。

The Institute of Hydrobiology, Chinese Academy of Sciences (IHB, CAS) has accumulated a large-scale, high-resolution microscopic video and image dataset of phytoplankton through years of systematic field surveys and laboratory studies. This dataset has undergone rigorous screening and standardization processing, and comprehensively covers common phytoplankton taxa across various habitats in freshwater ecosystems including rivers, lakes, reservoirs and other inland water bodies. Specifically, it includes nine major phytoplankton phyla: Cyanobacteria, Chlorophyta, Bacillariophyta, Dinophyta, Euglenophyta, Cryptophyta, Chrysophyta, Xanthophyta and Prymnesiophyta. As of now, the dataset has documented and identified more than 300 phytoplankton species, with the total number of image and video files exceeding 600,000. All data have been repeatedly verified and confirmed by senior phycologists of the institute, ensuring the accuracy of species identification and the reliability of taxonomic classification. This dataset is not only a valuable resource for morphological, taxonomic and ecological functional analyses of phytoplankton, but also provides an important visual basis and scientific evidence for fields such as aquatic environment monitoring, harmful algal blooms (HABs) warning and prevention, and biodiversity conservation. With its large scale, comprehensive species coverage and precise species identification, the dataset holds important reference and application value in relevant research fields both domestically and internationally.
