RT-qPCR Dataset Supporting the Study: "Maternal Obesity Influences Transcriptomic and Metagenomic Profiles in Term Neonates"

A total of 38 samples were analyzed using RT-PCR, including 18 from non-obese individuals (NBMI) and 20 from overweighted and obese individuals (OBMI). Cord blood was collected at birth for transcriptomic analysis. 10 mL of whole blood were collected in BD Vacutainer® K3E 15% Aprotinin 250KIU (SGSH;BD361017). Peripheral blood mononuclear cells (PBMCs) were isolated by Blood Collection tube BD Vacutainer®, BD CPT™ (Avantor, BDAM362781). Reverse transcription was performed from 100 ng total RNA using the RT2 First Strand Kit (SA Biosciences). RT-qPCR was performed in 384-well plates (Axygen, PCR-384M2-C) using PerfeCTa SYBR Green FastMix (Quantabio, 95074-012) in QuantStudioTM 7 Real-Time PCR (Thermo Fisher Scientific; 4485701), with 40 cycles at 95 oC for 15 seconds and 60 oC for 60 seconds.
