Psychrophilic anaerobic digester - UASB Raw sequence reads. anaerobic digester metagenome

In this study, complementary omics approaches, including both 16S rDNA amplicons and RNA sequencing, were proposed for an in depth characterization of a functional community within a psychrophilic upflow anaerobic sludge blanket reactor (UASB). This work was undertaken, in order to get supplemental information about metabolisms involved in the bioconversion of organic matter. Another goal was to enrich litterature on the poorly known microbiology of this promising wastewater technology.
