CCN51 Cocoa Research (2008–2025): Output, thematic evolution, and emerging trends

This dataset contains the raw bibliographic information retrieved from the Scopus database on November 7, 2025, concerning research on the CCN-51 cocoa clone. The data were collected to perform a comprehensive bibliometric analysis and thematic mapping to evaluate the evolution, research trends, and scientific impact of the CCN-51 clone.

Methodology: The search string used was: TITLE-ABS-KEY ("CCN-51" OR "CCN51" OR "CCN 51") AND TITLE-ABS-KEY ("Cocoa" OR "Cacao" OR "Theobroma cacao"). The dataset includes 94 high-quality documents selected after a systematic refinement process (PRISMA methodology), excluding non-research articles and documents lacking essential metadata.

Content: The .csv file includes metadata such as authors, publication year, journal title, citations, affiliations, and keywords, which are compatible with the Bibliometrix R-package and Biblioshiny interface.
